The Town Council offices are based at The Rufus Centre which the Council own and manage. This provides the town with a fantastic multi-functional conference and events facility. The Rufus Centre is home to our staff, business tenants, conferencing events, private functions and many community activities throughout the year.

Popular as a venue for weddings and celebration events our speciality is providing meeting spaces for businesses, local authority organisations and charities. We can accommodate bookings for anything from 2 to 200 people. Our smaller meeting rooms are perfect for interviews, training and meetings whilst the Lockyer Suite can be laid out in a variety of ways including tiered theatre style and is widely used for conferences, exhibitions and award evenings.

In a prime location close to road and rail links, we offer ample free parking, free Wi-Fi, equipment hire and an optional in-house catering service.
